Accessing Profile Settings Option 1
Step 1 Updated STB Emulator Versions
From any screen in the STB Emulator.
Press and hold down the OK Button for 3 seconds.
The main menu will appear. Press UP UP and press OK on Open current profile configuration
NOW Go down to step 4
Accessing Profile Settings Option 2
Step 1 OLD Versions of the STB Emulator
From any screen inside the STB Emulator, Press and hold down the OK Button for 3 seconds.
A menu will pop down from the top right hand corner of the screen
Go into Settings at the top.
Profiles
Step 2
Click on Profiles
Add or modify STB profiles
Click on your Profile Name
Step 3
There will be a default profile or more than 1 profile already created with a RED X beside it.
EG. NewProfile#28156 or OK3 etc
Click on this Profile name beside the RED X
TIP: Don't click on the X. This is how you delete profiles.
NOTE: you may have one or more than one profile already set up in advance.
Portal Settings
Step 4
Select Portal Settings from the Menu
Note: STB Configuration is right under portal settings.
Note: Your MAC Address is in the STB Configuration menu.
Portal URL
Step 5
At the very top of the screen its says Portal URL. Click on this and it will open up an edit window where you can change the URL
Enter the new portal URL given to you on this screen and SAVE IT only using a mouse pointer to click on the OK beside the cancel button.
USE Mouse mode on remote or a Wireless keyboard with Mouse or a USB Mouse plugged into the box.
Crucial TIP: There cannot be a space at the beginning or the end of the URL. MUST be lower case letters.
STB Configuration
STB Configuration Menu.
In this menu you will find your MAC Address starting with 00:1A:79:
Write it down or send a picture of it if asked to
Once you are set back up with an active Subscription you can Reload the Portal
Note: This is where you can edit the MAC Address to one that been assigned to you already.
Reload the Portal
Reload into the Live TV Portal
Now that you have set up the new profile make sure your provider has set up your new subscription on their end as well before reloading the portal.
Reloading Tips:
- Go all the way back to STB Blocked screen and RELOAD the PORTAL
- Close STB Emulator and open again
- Restart the box
